Sona Mohapatra on Sushant Singh Rajput Death Case: Calling Rhea Chakraborty ‘Vish-Kanya’ is correct manner to go about it?

Sushant Singh Rajput passed away on June 14. Ever since then, Rhea Chakraborty has been under the scanner as she has become the prime suspect in the case. But, there are people who are fighting for Rhea as they feel calling her names is not the right way and it is unjust to blame her when she hasn’t been proved guilty yet.

Singer Sona Mohapatra recently questioned whether ‘Broadcasting bikini pictures of Rhea Chakraborty or calling her ‘Vish-Kanya’ is the correct manner to go about investigating Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case. Read on to know the details.

Sona took to her Twitter handle and wrote that she has tried to stay away from social media in the past month. The singer also said that the current witch-hunt has made her nauseous. She wrote, “Have tried my very best to stay away from the crazy on social media & media in general in the last month to preserve any ounce of sanity or creativity. Have to say this though, the details of the witch hunt yet percolate in & make me nauseous. #RheaChakroborty #Journalism ?!”

A user replied to Sona that she should empathize with Sushant’s mysterious and brutal death. Given her fearless and fighting for justice attitude, the person told her that she should have understood the ‘staged depression’ of Sushant. The user’s tweet read, “For someone who fought tooth and nail against sex offenders (and I respected you for it) you could have understood that murder being staged as depression and suicide is a very disturbing thing to do to someone. #DishaSSRMurderMystery(sic).”

Replying to that user Sona tweeted, “The death is very tragic & justice must be sought & served. Also, the circumstances do not seem above board. No one is questioning that. Broadcasting bikini pictures of Rhea or calling her ‘Vish-Kanya’ & other derogatory names is the correct manner to go about it? Enough said. ??”

Meanwhile, Rhea in her recent interview had claimed that Suhsant’s case has turned her life upside down and that she has also considered committing suicide. The actress has even filed a complaint against the paparazzi and media who have tried to enter her residence and hound her and her family every time she steps out.
