Sonakshi Sinha accused ‘unprofessional’; now justifies reason

Sonakshi Sinha was supposed to attend an event in Delhi, but the actress failed to reach the event leaving the organisers in a ruckus. They even called the ‘Dabangg‘ actress ‘unprofessional’. Sona was invited as the chief guest at the event. The organizers even claimed that they had made the payment in advance and even booked the flight tickets and in that situation the actress not turning up irked them.

Now, in a statement released by Sonakshi’s spokesperson, the rumours of the entire fiasco has been cleared. Her statement read as “Sonakshi is a thorough professional and has no reason to walk away from any commitment she makes. Sonakshi was approached by the event organizers in Delhi to be their chief guest. However, despite repeated reminders, the organizers failed to have the dues cleared till the last day. This is payable to Sonakshi for her professional commitment and along with the dues, they didn’t even send the return tickets to the team, putting everyone in a tough spot since she had a shoot the next morning.”

The statement further stated that Sonakshi had to come back home from the airport because the organizers weren’t responding and updating her team. She wasn’t happy about the lack of commitment from the organisers and her team decided not to attend the event.

On the work front, Sonakshi was last seen in ‘Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi’. She is taken on board for Karan Johar’s ‘Kalank’ that also includes Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri Dixit, Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur in pivotal roles.
