Sonakshi continues her love affair with power suits in this mustard number!

No matter what the critics say, we believe that Sonakshi Sinha’s great genes, especially her towering frame, radiant skin and soul-searching eyes make her one helluva gorgeous actress. Although she’s been under the fashion scanner for many of her appearances, we’ve been particularly smitten by her current love affair: the quintessential power suits. For the promotions of her upcoming movie ‘Welcome To New York’ on a singing reality show, she recently wore a mustard double-breasted jacket and wide-bottom trousers from Zara. The colour itself is so soothing to the eye that Sonakshi didn’t have to make a lot of efforts to slay the look. The jacket was cinched at the waist with belt detail, giving definition to the actress’ curvy bod. But we do have a problem with how the bad lighting probably ruined the overall impact as the colour appears washed out in some pictures. What say?

Styled by Mohit Rai, Sona clubbed the pantsuit with elegant gold baubles and a statement ring from Flowerchild by Shaheen Abbas that make us actually zoom in and admire the exquisiteness. She completed the look with pointed black heels that added a hint of uber sophistication.

Makeup Artist Divya Chablani gave the diva fresh coral lips and fluttery, long eyelashes that enhanced her eyelids in a jiffy. But we just wish Sona had ditched her signature middle-parted poker straight hair that doesn’t do justice to this mustard power suit. A sexy top knot or a slicked-back pony would have looked a tad better.

But nevertheless, we think the actress looked lovely.
