Sonakshi Sinha-Zaheer Iqbal wedding: Couple to host 1000 guests at reception, party likely to last till 4 AM

Celebrity couple Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal are set to tie the knot today (Sunday) after years of keeping their relationship under wraps. They will host a wedding reception at a Mumbai restaurant, featuring high-energy Bollywood music, according to DJ Ganesh in an interview with Dubai Brew. The couple will exchange vows in a private ceremony attended only by family and close friends. Their wedding reception, however, will be a grand affair with around 1000 guests, including friends and industry colleagues.

DJ Ganesh revealed, “Sonakshi has a private reception at Bastian in Dadar. I think 1,000 people are invited. So, I think it will be a full-on Bollywood mix-off until 4 in the morning.”

DJ Ganesh has recently performed at actor Rakul Preet Singh’s wedding with producer Jackky Bhagnani in Goa and actor Randeep Hooda’s wedding reception.

The couple will have a registered marriage today at Sonakshi’s apartment in Bandra. Prior to today’s celebrations, they hosted an indoor party for friends and family on June 20 and a mehendi ceremony on June 21. The party was attended by Sonakshi’s parents, Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha.

Bollywood actress Tabu and singer Honey Singh are also set to attend the wedding reception.

Sonakshi and Zaheer have kept their relationship discreet since dating rumors began. They starred together in the 2022 film Double XL. While they have not publicly discussed their love story, the duo have shared photos with each other on social media.
