Actress Sonakshi Sinha has started working on her next venture titled ‘Noor’.
The 29-year-old actress, who has tried her hands at action in her upcoming film ‘Akira’, will be seen playing a journalist based in Karachi in ‘Noor’.

“And my #Noor journey begins…Here’s to new beginnings & exciting times ahead! @NoorTheFilm @Abundantia_Ent @TSeries,” Sonakshi tweeted along with an on-set picture.
In the picture, she is seen winking with the clap board in her hand. The actress had announced this project on June 2, on the occasion of her 29th birthday.
To be directed by Sunhil Sippy, the crime thriller comedy is an adaptation of Pakistani novel ‘Karachi, You’re Killing Me!’ by Saba Imtiaz.
The novel centers around a 20-year-old reporter Ayesha Khan, living in Karachi, her misadventures and finding a nice lover.
