Sonakshi Sinha & Jyotika to team up for Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari’s courtroom drama – Report

With films like Nil Battey Sannata, Bareilly Ki Barfi, and Panga, director Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari has carved a niche in the industry for crafting relatable narratives with strong emotional and cultural resonance. Now she is ready to make her comeback with a courtroom drama.

Sonakshi Sinha & Jyotika to star in courtroom drama

As per the latest reports of Peepingmoon.com the courtroom drama will star Sonakshi Sinha and Jyotika. The film will premiere on Amazon Prime Video, with shooting starting next month in Mumbai.
It is produced by Excel Entertainment and Baweja Studios; it promises a gripping battle for justice.

Reportedly, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Kiara Advani were first offered this project, which has been in development for the last two years. Significant delays resulted from the negotiations’ non-materialization at the time. With Sonakshi and Jyotika at the forefront of the gripping story, it is finally progressing as an Amazon Prime Original. While Jyotika makes a comeback to the genre five years after playing a rookie lawyer in the 2020 Tamil film Ponmagal Vandhal, Sonakshi is starring in her maiden legal drama.
