Sonakshi Sinha channels her inner Umrao Jaan in latest pics, rumoured BF Zaheer Iqbal reacts

Actress Sonakshi Sinha has channeled her inner Umrao Jaan as she recreated Rekha’s iconic song, In Aankhon ki Masti Ke. On Thursday, she dropped a few pictures of herself where she could be seen in a white and gold traditional outfit. She completed her look with a maang tikka, statement neckpiece and a heavy finger ring. Her kohled eyes did all the talking. Sona looked regal and elegant in the get up.

Sharing the pics, she captioned them, “Inn aankhon ki masti ke”. This is the line from the movie Umrao Jaan’s song, In Ankhon Ki Masti Ke. Her rumoured boyfriend actor Zaheer Iqbal was quick to comment as he wrote, “Mastane hazaar hai?” Sonakshi replied, “waaah….full marks for correct lyrics.” The Notebook actor then replied back, “thanks buddy”.

Sonakshi and Zaheer are reportedly dating but they haven’t confirm their relationship yet. Recently, there was a report in India Today stating that they have decided to go public with their relationship. The rumoured couple is planning to make the announcement with their upcoming song, Blockbuster Jodi.

On the work front, Sonakshi has started shooting for her upcoming film Nikita Roy and The Book of Darkness in London. She will also be seen in Amazon Prime’s project Dahaad, where she is playing a cop. It also stars Vijay Varma, Gulshan Devaiah, and Sohum Shah. Dahaad will be directed by Reema Kagti and Ruchika Oberoi.
