Sonakshi Sinha has landed in hot waters reportedly due to a fraud case. The actress reportedly landed in legal trouble after a non-bailable warrant was issued against her. She was accused of not attending an event in Delhi. Sonakshi was accused of not attending the event for which she charged Rs 37 Lakh. As per the reports, Sonakshi was to attend the event in Delhi as a chief guest. However, the actress failed to attend. The report mentioned that the fraud case was filed after Sonakshi Sinha did not return several calls made to her regarding payment.
According to a report in the Times of India, a news portal report said that event organizer Pramod Sharma, a resident of Morabad’s Katghar Police station area had planned an event where Sonakshi was invited as the chief guest. However, the actress failed to make an appearance at the event and attend it. Following that, as per the report, Sharma requested a refund. The report said that allegedly, Sonakshi’s manager refused to pay the money to the event organizer. The victim took an action and filed a complaint of fraud after contacting Sinha several times.
Reportedly, the Dabangg actress had come to Moradabad to record her statement in the case. But, the court issued a warrant against her in the fraud case, after her continuous absence in the matter.

On the work front, Sinha was last seen in the movie Bhuj: The Pride of India with Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt, Nora Fatehi, and others. The actress recently returned from the Da-Bangg tour in Dubai. She joined Salman Khan, Disha Patani, Pooja Hegde, and a few others during the tour. Apart from that, Sonakshi has Double XL with Huma Qureshi. The actress also has the project titled Kakuda with Riteish Deshmukh and Saqib Saleem in her kitty.
