Actress Sonakshi Sinha has recently tied a knot with Zaheer Iqbal. She spoke about the changing dynamics of women’s roles in marriage. In an interview, at a promotional culinary event, Sonakshi Sinha revealed that there is no pressure on women to cook after marriage. Today, as people are aware of their professional commitments and personal lives.

Sinha cooked sattu ka parantha at the event, said that she doesn’t feel pressured to cook. And it is because she has her own interests and priorities. Zaheer Iqbal prepared avocado sushi at the same event.
Sonakshi said it was the first time she tried her hand at cooking and that her mother Poonam Sinha would be happy with her attempt.She even joked that her mother, Poonam Sinha, would be happy with her attempt at cooking. Added that her mother has always been a fantastic cook, and that she is waiting for it to happen.
“I’m truly blessed, that I don’t have that pressure of cooking. Even if I want to go ahead and cook, it’ll be because I want to do it,” she said. “The happiest person today would be my mom. She’s a fantastic cook. She thought her daughter would become a good chef which never happened,” added the Dabanng actress
The Heeramandi actress also shared her love for Indian food, calling it her favorite cuisine. She recalled her childhood memories of traveling with her family. And being fed delicious Bihari dishes like litti chokha and sattu ke paranthe’ by her grandmother who lived in Patna.
Sonakshi Sinha’s comments have sparked a conversation about the changing roles of women in modern society, and how they are no longer expected to prioritize domestic duties over their professional lives. The couple also revealed their favourite holiday destination: Goa for Sinha and Kerala for Iqbal. Sinha also mentioned that Kashmir is a destination she wants to visit soon.
