After dating for 7 years, Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal got married on 23^rd June. After exchanging wedding vows under Special Marriage Act, the couple hosted a star-studded reception bash. While Sonakshi had shared dreamy pics from the big day, she has now surprised fans with more pictures with husband Zaheer Iqbal.

In new pictures shared by the Heeramandi actress is seen in her reception look. The actress looks ravishing in bright red saree while Zaheer looks dapper in white indo-western attire. In the mushi pics, the couple is seen planting kiss and warmly hugging each other. She captioned the post, “Whattttt a day!!!! The love, the laughter, the togetherness, the excitement, the warmth, the support from every one of our friends, families and teams… it was like the universe came together for two people in love to give them exactly what they’ve always hoped, wished and prayed for (sic). If this is not divine intervention… we dont know what is (sic). We are both truly blessed to have each other and so much love protecting us.”

Sonakshi-Zaheer share first pics after getting married

Both Sonakshi and Zaheer took to their Instagram handles to share wedding first photos. The couple was dressed in matching off-white outfits — while Sonakshi opted for a beautiful saree, Zaheer was in a kurta. “On this very day, seven years back (23.06.2017) in each others eyes, we saw love in its purest form and decided to hold on to it. Today that love has guided us through all the challenges and triumphs… leading up to this moment… where with the blessings of both our families and both our gods… we are now man and wife. Here’s to love, hope and all things beautiful with each other, from now until forever,” the couple captioned the photos.

For those unversed, their civil marriage occurred at Sonakshi’s apartment in Bandra. After this the couple made their first appearance at their reception bash at Bastian. The inside pics of grand party is out and the newlyweds are seen dancing their hearts out. Talking about the couple’s pre-wedding festivities, they hosted an indoor party for friends and family on June 20. A mehendi ceremony on June 21 followed it. on 22nd June, Poonam Sinha organised a Pooja at her residence Ramayana where the Heeramandi actress looked elegant in blue attire.
