Sonakshi Sinha takes a stand on cruel Jallikattu ritual

Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha is always vocal about social issues. Recently the actress took a firm stand against a cruel ritual practiced in Tamil Nadu. She has made her aversion public to a ritual called Jallikattu, that Tamil Nadu is famous for. In course of the ritual several bulls are subjected to extreme torture and cruelty.

The ritual has been banned by the Supreme Court but it is still practiced in certain parts of Tamil Nadu. Sonakshi Sinha has made an attempt to bring the issue to the notice of the TN Ministry. Recently she took to Twitter and posted a tweet on her handle.

Sonakshi tweeted,

Dear Minister @PrakashJavdekar, please keep bulls and people protected. Keep Jallikattu banned. Watch: http://t.co/rvRlmsfZZk.

Hope after watching the video tweeted by Sonakshi Sinha the administration will put a stop to such a cruel practice soon.
