Kakuda Screening: Zaheer Iqbal and his ‘Biwi’ Sonakshi Sinha steal the show with their adorable PDA

Sonakshi Sinha recently tied the knot with her long-time beau, Zaheer Iqbal. Professionally, she is gearing up for the release of her horror-comedy film, Kakuda. The film also stars Riteish Deshmukh and Saqib Saleem. Zaheer, showing his support as a husband, attended the film’s screening in style. In a video shared by the paparazzi, Zaheer is seen making a stylish entrance in a car.

Upon spotting Sonakshi from a distance, he proudly exclaimed, “Arey meri biwi,” and gave her a big hug. The couple then posed for the cameras and engaged in a candid conversation before heading into the cinema hall. Zaheer sported an oversized printed shirt paired with matching pants, while Sonakshi exuded boss lady vibes in a black blazer suit. She completed her look by stylish eyeglasses.

The trailer for Kakuda was released on July 2, Zaheer shared the trailer link on his Instagram. He wrote, “Meri biwi ko daraana mushkil he nahi namumkin hai (It is not only difficult but impossible to scare my wife). Well done Kakuda,” along with a red heart and kissing emoji. Kakuda will be Sonakshi’s first film post-marriage.

About the film

The film is directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, known for Munjya, and produced by Ronnie Screwval. Kakuda is set to premiere on ZEE5 on July 12, 2024. The film is set in a fictional haunted village called Ratodi, where each house has two doors: one big and one small. The smaller door is for a ghost named Kakuda. The plot revolves around Saqib’s character, Sunny, who falls in love with Sonakshi’s character, Indira. However, their lives are turned upside down by the curse of Kakuda.

Zaheer’s supportive appearance at the screening, combined with his social media posts, highlighted his role as Sonakshi’s biggest cheerleader. This gesture resonated with fans and the Bollywood fraternity alike, adding to the excitement surrounding Kakuda’s release.
