On their 1-month wedding anniversary, Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal took their Instagram handle and stated that they headed to the Philippines to relax and celebrate. Sharing a number of pictures – that show them adoring each other and nature, the duo captioned the post, “We celebrated one month of our wedding by doing what we needed to do the most – RECOVER!!!”

The couple further added that the week-long Philippines getaway was just to unwind from their hectic life. They wrote, “In one week we were taught what wellness actually means, listen to our bodies and take care of our minds. Waking up in the midst of nature, eating right, sleeping on time, detox treatments and massages galore – feeling brand new.”

Talking about the pictures, while the first pic shows Sonakshi and Zaheer cuddling in a pool surrounded by trees, the last has them cuddling while rocking matching white comfortable ensembles. The other pictures in the carousel include them gobbling up delicious food and drinks, as well as posing with the staff at The Farm at San Benito and adoring the natural beauty of the place.

Sonakshi and Zaheer dated each other for 7 years before having an intimate wedding function at the actress’ Bandra home on the anniversary of the day they fell in love. The same day, they threw a bash for their closest friends and family later in the day – and it was a star-studded affair.
