‘Bharat’: Sonali Kulkarni defines grace and strength as Salman Khan’s mother

Sonali Kulkarni is one of the finest actors of Marathi and Bollywood film industry. Over her career span, she has proved her acting prowess in Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Tamil, Kannada and also English and Italian movies. She is popularly known for her roles in ‘ Dil Chahta Hai’, ‘Singham’ and ‘Taxi No. 9211’ to name a few.

She was last seen in ‘Poster Boys’ in 2017 and after a two year gap, Sonali is making her comeback in Hindi movies with Salman Khan starrer ‘Bharat’. The makers have unveiled the trailer today and going by trailer, we can make it out that Sonali is playing Salman’s on-screen mother.

Sonali is shown as a single mother who raises her children through all odds. Her character seems to be very strong. She encourages her son ‘Bharat’ (Salman Khan) to keep the promise that he made to his dad when he was a child. One of Sonali’s dialogues in the movie is where she says to her son, “Jo vada aapni babuji se kiya tha uski soch.”(Think about what you have promised to your father.) The way she carries her children during the partition is really commendable. It shows how well she has gone into the skin of her character.

Talking about her looks, her stylist and make-up artist have done a great job in giving her an authentic look. In the trailer, we have seen her wearing suits and sarees and we must say that she looks graceful and elegant in both.

We are looking forward to see her giving a stellar performance in ‘Bharat’.
