Apart from entertaining their fans with their acting prowess, our Bollywood stars are also known to take up weird and quirky challenges, time and again, to keep their social media followers amused.
After the popular Kiki and Dele challenge, here comes another new challenge (more of a game) that has been keeping our celebs busy these days. This time around, our actors are nominating each other and revealing their favourite films; which necessarily has to be an adaptation from literature. The game was first started by Sonam K Ahuja, who nominated her sister Rhea Kapoor, brother Arjun Kapoor and actress Priyanka Chopra and asked them to share the name of her favourite films based on novels.
Check out her tweets below:
Mario Puzo gave us Don Vito Corleone. Francis Ford Coppola gave us cinema we couldn’t refuse. I nominate @arjunk26 to share his favorite film adapted from literature.#TheGodfather @mumbaifilmfest #WordtoScreen2018 #JioMAMIwithStar2018 pic.twitter.com/fPrQBKfxcE

“I’d cut up my heart for you to wear if you wanted it.” Margaret Mitchell wrote. Vivian Leigh’s Scarlett O’Hara cut her curtains instead. I nominate @priyankachopra to share her favorite book to film adaptation.#GoneWithTheWind @mumbaifilmfest #WordtoScreenMarket2018 pic.twitter.com/yDmp3yOFGz

A jewellery shop was just a jewellery shop until Capote & Hepburn made it the perfect place to beat Mean Reds with breakfast. I nominate @RheaKapoor to share her favourite literature adapted film.#BreakfastAtTiffanys @mumbaifilmfest #WordtoScreenMarket2018 #JioMAMIwithStar2018 pic.twitter.com/x7jMySWiBF

While Arjun and Rhea did participate in the challenge, Priyanka is yet to respond.
Check out Rhea and Arjun’s favourite films:
“There’s a difference between really loving someone and loving the idea of her.” My favourite word to screen is Gone Girl! Thanks for tagging me @sonamakapoor. I tag @anshulakapoor to tell me her favourite word to screen! #mami pic.twitter.com/ATOKCFyECq

While Arjun nominated his sister Anshula for the same, Rhea nominated Katrina, who very sportingly revealed her favourite film. She revealed the name of her favourite film adapted from literature called ‘The English Patient’.
The actress has further nominated Varun Dhawan to reveal his best film and we wonder how many more celebs are yet to take up this new game.
Till then, you too can nominate your friends and be a part of this fun game on social media.
