Sonam feels lucky to have Anil as her father, shares a touching birthday wish

Today, actor-producer Anil Kapoor celebrates his 61st birthday. His journey as a performer has been very inspirational. The actor has been working in the film industry for over three decades now, and certainly the journey hasn’t been all easy for him. Like many of his fans and admirers out there, he is an inspiration for his kids as well. And today, on this happy occasion, his daughter and actress Sonam Kapoor has shared a heart-touching message for him saying that she feels lucky to have Anil Kapoor as her father.

In her first post, the actress has written on Twitter, “Happy birthday to the person who taught me to fight for what I believe in and to never stop chasing my dreams. Without you, I wouldn’t be half the woman I am today and for that I love you endlessly. ❤ @AnilKapoor.” Following this, her second post came where she said, “There is no one in the world who understands me like you do and for that I’m truly grateful. “You have made me the person I am today and I continue to be inspired and in awe of your charisma, loyalty and dedication every single day. How lucky am I to have a father like you ☺ Happy birthday Daddy! @AnilKapoor,” concluded the actress with this tweet of her. Indeed, having a look at his daughter’s love for him, Anil took to his Twitter handle and wrote, “Thank you @sonamakapoor!! I am the lucky one to have a beautiful & kind daughter like you!”

Talking about movies, the father-daughter duo is all set to team up for the first time and work together in a project tentatively titled ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga’. It will be produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and directed by his sister Shelly Chopra.
