10 years of ‘Delhi-6’: Sonam Kapoor and Abhishek Bachchan share nostalgic memories

‘Delhi-6’, remember this film? The Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra directorial, which starred Abhishek Bachchan and Sonam Kapoor has completed 10 years today. Time flies, doesn’t it? Sonam Kapoor has come a long way as an actress and is now going through a fantastic phase in her career as well as life.

Now, junior AB i.e. Abhishek Bachchan and the ‘Veere Di Wedding’ actress took to their Instagram accounts and shared posts regarding 10 years of ‘Delhi-6’.

Both actors got pretty emotional and nostalgic. ‘Delhi-6’ did average business at the box-office and still, it played a crucial role in Sonam’s journey as an actress. Sonam also got married to her soul mate Anand Ahuja last year in Mumbai.

On the work front, Sonam Kapoor was last seen in ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga’. The film dealt with a very sensitive and controversial topic of same-sex relationship and it also saw Anil Kapoor sharing screen space with his daughter. The youth icon and fashionista will be soon sharing screen space with Dulquer Salmaan in Abhishek Sharma’s ‘The Zoya Factor’.

Abhishek Bachchan, on the other hand, made his comeback last year with Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Manmarziyaan’. He was appreciated a lot for his performance in the same. Abhishek has time and again mentioned that he wants to do challenging roles and is hungry for success.
