Sonam Kapoor Ahuja trolled for wearing mangalsutra on wrist

Sonam Kapoor Ahuja recently got married to her long-time boyfriend Anand Ahuja in a traditional Anand Karaj ceremony. The newly married actress is currently busy with the ‘Veere Di Wedding’ promotions. For the various promotional events, she rocked some chic and traditional looks which grabbed many eyeballs. But what got more noticed was her customized Mangalsutra.

Sonam was seen sporting her Mangalsutra as a bracelet at all the promotional events. The actress has been slammed by a number of her fans for the same.  They are of a view that she is  “disrespecting” Indian culture.

Interestingly, Sonam’s Mangalsutra was designed by the actor herself, she took the help of jewelry designer Usheeta Rawtani. It has the zodiac symbols of Anand and Sonam with a single solitaire in the center.
