Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja celebrate Mother’s Day in London with friends, view pics

Actress Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja welcomed their son Vayu Kapoor in August 2022. On Sunday, the actress and her husband hosted a Mother’s Day dinner at her luxurious London house to celebrate the special occasion. She also shared a sneak peek of the celebrations at her beautiful home on Instagram.

Sonam Kapoor celebrates Mother’s Day

Sonam took to Instagram shared some pics and wrote, “Spending Mothering Sunday or (Mother’s Day in the united kingdom) with my friends and ushering in the new season by decorating the house inspired by the colours of spring. Everything that’s been done in the house in such spectacular style is by incredibly talented desis!”

In the pictures we see Sonam looking gorgeous in a red and black outfit. She also shared glimpses of the table which was decorated with yellow taper candles, flowers along with cutlery. She also gave a closer view of the menu which had a host of dishes. The last picture featured several snack trays and bowls kept on a table near a flower pot.

Sharing the pictures Sonam Kapoor also revealed that the decoration was done by ‘incredibly talented desis’. She further added that the decorations were ‘inspired by the colours of spring’.

Anand Ahuja reacts

Reacting to the post, Anand wrote, “Can I get a tag on slide 7 please … not cause I did anything here but cause it says my name.” He also added, “PS looking (fire emojis) @sonamkapoor … stylin’ ; vibin’.” Her mother Sunita Kapoor posted red heart emojis.

Anand Ahuja had also penned an adorable post for her on Mother’s Day. Sharing an adorable picture of Sonam Kapoor and their son Vayu he wrote, “I have to admit, and Sonam can verify, that emotional/social awareness is not really a strength of mine. As a result, it’s really taken me seeing what @sonamkapoor has done over the past 17 months (and actually even longer) in ensuring the best emotional and physical health of herself and our baby to really understand the levels of commitment and selflessness it takes to be a full-time mom. To @sonamkapoor and to all the moms (and we all have some degree of motherhood in us even if not everyone is a ‘full time mom’) Happy Mothers Day!! You are the root all life & love. “

Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja got married on May 8, 2018. They welcomed their first child, a baby boy Vayu on August 20, 2022, in Mumbai.
