Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja REVEAL name of their baby boy as they share first glimpse

Finally, new parents Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja have shared picture with their newborn baby boy. They have also revealed the name of their son. They have named him Vayu Kapoor Ahuja. The couple posted a picture with their little one; all three dressed in yellow outfits. The trio looked stunning in it. In the pic, Anand was seen holding their bundle of joy and planting a kiss on his wife’s cheek and Sonam adorably looking at the little munchkin.

Sharing the family pic, Sonam and Anand wrote, “In the spirit of the force that has breathed new meaning into our lives…In the spirit of Hanuman and Bheem who embody immense courage and strength…In the spirit of all that is sacred, life-giving and eternally ours, we seek blessings for our son, Vayu Kapoor Ahuja.”

They also explained the meaning of their son’s name in details. The meaning read, “In Hindu scriptures Vayu is one of the paanch tatvas. He is the deity of breath, the spiritual father of Hanuman, Bheem and Madhav and He is the incredibly powerful lord of wind. Praana is Vayu, a guiding force of life and intelligence in the universe. All the deity’s of Praana, Indra, Shiva and Kali relate to Vayu. He can breathe life into beings as easily as he can destroy evil. Vayu is said to be heroic, brave and mesmerisingly beautiful.” She added, “Thank you for your continued wishes and blessings for Vayu and his family.”

Sonam and Anand welcomed their first child in August this year. They got married in 2018. In an interview with Vogue, the actress revealed that she and husband were planning for a baby in 2020 but got delayed due to the pandemic.
