Former England football team captain David Beckham is in India as UNICEF’s goodwill ambassador. One of India’s biggest power couple Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja are hosting football legend at their home in Mumbai. The couple has invited the legend for a dinner at their residence.

“David Beckham is in India for his UNICEF commitment as a Global Ambassador & he will be meeting Sonam & Anand during his trip to Mumbai. The power-couple will be hosting David today when he is in Mumbai and have invited the crème de la crème icons of the city for a dinner at their residence!” informs a source.

The source also revealed that it will be a private affair. “It is a very private affair. We are hearing only 25 people have made the cut for this grand soirée! Sonam & Anand are major entrepreneurs themselves, with Anand being at the top of the heap with business empire. Sonam is Bollywood royalty and a global fashion icon,” the source adds.

The source went on to add, “Let’s look at David now. He is a global icon, his wife too is a fashion icon. Together, they are pop culture shapers of the world. So, there could be more than what meets the eye about this dinner. Let’s wait and watch!.”

Sonam and Anand are one of the most loved couples in the industry. The couple tied the knot on May 8, 2018 after dating for a few years. In August last year, Sonam and Anand became parents to a baby boy, Vayu.

On the work front, Sonam was last seen in Shome Makhija’s crime thriller Blind. The actress played the role of Gia Singh, a cop in Glasgow.
