‘Sonam Kapoor and her baby boy are doing well,’ reveals Anil Kapoor

Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja are one of the most loved couples of Bollywood. Sonam and Anand welcomed their first child last month. Rhea Kapoor had also shared her nephew’s photos on Instagram. And now, Anil Kapoor, who became a grandfather, has opened up about the baby.

At a recent event, Anil Kapoor expressed his happiness at the arrival of Sonam and Anand’s baby. The actor said, “It has been absolutely wonderful. God has been kind and I just want to thank God that everything went smoothly. Mum and son both are doing well.”

On Thursday, Sonam had shared a video on her Instagram Stories wearing her maternity clothes. She had captioned it saying, “Tummy’s not completely in yet but looks great.” The actress was in a black shirt and trousers.

Sonam and Anand had announced the birth of their child by sharing a statement that read, “On 20.08.2022, we welcomed our beautiful baby boy with bowed heads and open hearts. Thank you to all of the doctors, nurses, friends and family who have supported us on this journey. It’s only the beginning but we know our lives are forever changed. Sonam & Anand.”

On the other hand, days after Sonam welcomed her baby boy, Rhea had shared photos without revealing his face. She had captioned the pics as, “Rhea masi is not ok. The cuteness is too much. The moment is unreal. I love you @sonamkapoor the bravest mommy and @anandahuja the most loving dad. Special mention new nani @kapoor.sunita #mynephew #everydayphenomenal.” Amruta Arora, Khushi Kapoor, Maheep Kapoor and others had dropped heart emojis on the post.
