Sonam Kapoor celebrates Lohri with family of Neerja Bhanot

Actress Sonam Kapoor is playing the title role in her upcoming release ‘Neerja’, which is a biopic on the brave air-hostess Neerja Bhanot; the lady who gave away her life while saving passengers from hijackers, in a flight where she was on-duty as a cabin crew. The actress recently flew to Chandigarh to award the Neerja Bhanot awardees; the award goes to ladies who show indomitable courage and spirit in adverse situations.

After the award ceremony, the actress spent Lohri with Neerja Bhanot’s family. She later took it to her instagram account to share glimpses of the award ceremony as well as the celebration.
