Sonam Kapoor: Shobhaa De has very strong opinions and it can get very personal

Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor is one of those rare performers in Bollywood, who believes in speaking her mind. The diva goes by the principle of calling a spade a spade. Now, Sonam appeared on her close friend Arbaaz Khan’s web show ‘Pinch’. The ‘Neerja’ actress was at her candid best and in a very chilled out mode.

Sonam Kapoor was asked about her much-publicised feud with author and journalist Shobhaa De. Sonam said, “Shobhaa De has very strong opinions. Sometimes it can get very personal. Sometimes they are quite intelligent but it can get pretty provocative as well. If she (Shobhaa) has an opinion then I am also allowed to have an opinion. I was very hot-headed back then. My sister (Rhea) told me why are you stooping to her level, but I said it’s not done.”

Sonam Kapoor was quite offended when Shobhaa called her ordinary and said she had no sex appeal. The ‘Aisha’ actress further added that in hindsight, it is better to avoid getting into controversies.

Sonam has once again proved that she is a boss on and off the screen. The actress was last seen in Shelly Chopra Dhar’s ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga’.
