Sonam Kapoor credits THIS person for picking Anand Ahuja as her husband

Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja tied the knot in 2018. Sonam and Anand keep giving fans major couple goals. Sonam, who is an active social media user, often shares cute and romantic moments with her husband. This time, Sonam took to her Instagram Stories to share a post and revealed why she picked Anand Ahuja as her husband. The actress credited her mom Sunita Kapoor for picking Anand as her hubby.

Sonam re-shared a post about daughter on Instagram and captioned it saying, “@AnilSKapoor that’s why @RheaKapoor and I picked @AnandAhuja and @KaranBoolani because @SunitaKapoor picked right… I’m giving mom credit….”

Sonam and Anand dated for a few years before tying the knot in 2018. Sonam and Anand welcomed their first child in August this year. The couple named their son Vayu. In an Instagram post, Sonam explained the meaning of Vayu. A part of her caption read, “In Hindu scriptures Vayu is one of the paanch tatvas. He is the deity of breath, the spiritual father of Hanuman, Bheem and Madhav and He is the incredibly powerful Lord of wind.”

The actress added, “Praana is Vayu, a guiding force of life and intelligence in the universe. All the deity’s of Praana, Indra, Shiva and Kali relate to Vayu.”

Since welcoming her baby boy, Sonam has been sharing her son’s cute moments on Instagram. In one of her social media posts, Sonam revealed her baby boy’s face. Bhumi Pednekar, Athiya Shetty, and Malaika Arora among others showered love on the new mom. Alia Bhatt, who welcomed her first child with husband-actor Ranbir Kapoor this year, too showered love on Sonam’s post. Going by Sonam’s post, she is enjoying motherhood.

On the work front, Sonam will be seen in Blind.
