Sonam Kapoor’s family performs puja as she arrives home, Anand Ahuja adorably holds his baby boy-WATCH

Actor Sonam Kapoor gets discharged from the hospital after delivering a baby boy with husband Anand Ahuja. The actor arrives at her father and actor Anil Kapoor’s residence with her newborn. A video of Anil surfaced online where he looked ecstatic as he patiently waits for his daughter and grandson. Now, we came across another video where we get to see Sonam’s family performing a homecoming puja at the doorstep.

In the video, we see Anand carrying the baby in his arms while Sonam standing close to him with her family warding off the evil. After they arrived home from the hospital, the JuggJug Jeeyo actor and Anand distributed sweets to the media people with utmost happiness.

After the Neerja actor embraced motherhood, grandfather Anil Kapoor was beyond happy. He shared his excitement on Instagram. The actor shared a note that read, “We are delightful to announce, on the 20th of August 2022, the arrival of the newest member of our family. Sonam and Anand have been blessed with a healthy baby boy and we couldn’t be more elated. Our hearts are bursting with pride and love for the new parents and their beautiful angel. Doting grandparents Harish & Priya, Anil & Sunita. Elated aunties and uncles – Rhea & Karan, Anant & Harshvardhan.”

Meanwhile, on August 20, Sonam Kapoor dropped a beautiful statement after her baby boy was delivered. Her statement read, “On 20.08.2022, we welcomed our beautiful baby boy with bowed hands and open hearts. Thank You to all of the doctors, nurses, friends and family who have supported us on this journey. It’s only the beginning, but we know our lives are forever changed. Sonam & Anand.”
