Sonam Kapoor miffed with Ranbir Kapoor as he compares her with Katrina Kaif?

Sonam Kapoor seems to be mighty angry with Ranbir Kapoor. It is because the handsome hunk drew comparisons between Sonam Kapoor and Katrina Kaif. He did not compare the two over their acting abilities, but he tried to gauge their fashion sensibilities, a topic that is too close to Sonam. Currently, Ranbir is on his toes promoting his upcoming film ‘Jagga Jasoos’. So at an event, the ‘Barfi!’ actor praised his co-star and ex-girlfriend Katrina Kaif for having an advanced knowledge on fashion.

He was quoted saying, “Katrina is way ahead of people when it comes to fashion especially in India. She finds certain brands that nobody knows and she wears it 3 months before people get to know about it.”

But he did not end it here. Ranbir further went on to quip, “That’s why maybe people don’t consider her (Katrina) like people consider Sonam Kapoor. I do believe there is some fashion icon somewhere inside her but she is very shy about it.”

This statement of his has apparently irked Sonam. A report in Pinkvilla has a source saying, “Though Sonam finds Katrina quite stylish, she feels Ranbir even trying to compare her and Katrina, is very silly and random. Sonam feels that she and Katrina are at completely different levels and that she has more knowledge in the fashion field than Katrina ever had. She does not feel that Katrina has been experimental at all with her style and looks.”

“She feels it is a promotional stint by Ranbir for ‘Jagga Jasoos’. She also believes that when Ranbir and her start promoting their Sanjay Dutt biopic together, Ranbir will change his tunes accordingly,” [sic] added the source.
