Sanjay Dutt’s biopic starring Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role has been in the news from the onset. Be it his leaked pictures or the star cast, every little detail from the movie has made fans anxious about the project.

Of late, there were speculations that Sonam Kapoor who teams up with Ranbir after 11 years in this movie will be playing Dutt’s love interest who was also an actress. That further gave way to rumours that she could either essay Tina Munim or Madhuri Dixit in the movie.

However, that doesn’t seem to be the reality as the actress spoke about it to DNA and said, “I have a small but important part in the movie. It’s not what everyone is thinking. I am not playing an actress. I am not allowed to say anything about it. But it has been wonderful working with Rajkumar Hirani. Helmed by Rajkumar Hirani, the Dutt biopic is yet to have a definite movie title and will be releasing around June this year.
