Sonam Kapoor reveals why she didn’t fast for Karwa Chauth as she shares photos from festivities, the reason is too cute

Sonam Kapoor celebrated the festival of Karwa Chauth with her family, for the first time after becoming a mom. And, the actress took to her Instagram to share some stunning photos from the festivities. However, Sonam Kapoor mentioned that she did not fast for Karwa Chauth, but revealed why? And the reason shared by the actress is too cute for words.

In the caption of the post, Sonam shared why she didn’t fast for Karwa Chauth. She wrote, “My Husband isn’t a fan of Karava Chauth as he thinks fasting should only be intermittent so I’ve never kept it!”

Sonam Kapoor shared photos of her wearing a red and green Kerala style ghagra and choli, with golden border. She kept her tresses open and posed for some stunning shots. The actress exudes grace and elegance as she poses for the photos. Sonam shared the photos and added the location tag of ‘Anil Kapoor House, Juhu, Mumbai’.

The actress further shared why she dressed up for the festivities, despite not fasting for Karwa Chauth. She said, “Both (Anand Ahuja and her) of us are big believers that festivals and traditions are a great reason for family and friends to come together.”

The new mom further heaped praise on her mother Sunita Kapoor, who hosts a Karwa Chauth celebration, every year for married women. Talking about Sunita Kapoor, Sonam wrote, “I love that my mom loves celebrating it and I love being a part of it and dressing up. @kapoor.sunita you always throw the best dos! Your energy and generosity is legendary and I hope to follow the same path!” She ended her caption by wishing everyone and wrote, “Happy KC everyone!”

Meanwhile, Sonam Kapoor constantly treats fans with cute glimpses of her son Vayu’s outfits and toys. The actress welcomed her first child, son Vayu Kapoor Ahuja, with her husband, Anand Ahuja, in August, 2022. She is currently residing at her father, Anil Kapoor’s residence in Mumbai’s Juhu.
