Sonam Kapoor to be Shah Rukh Khan’s leading lady in Aanand L. Rai’s next?

After donning the role of a gangster in ‘Raees’, Shah Rukh Khan is all set to play a dwarf in his next. This interesting film is being helmed by Aanand L. Rai. Reports had it that the makers are hunting for a leading lady to feature opposite SRK and it looks like their search has come to an end. If reports are to be believed, then the ‘Neerja’ actor, Sonam Kapoor, is the one to have bagged this film.

There’s no confirmation on this as of yet, but whispers are being heard in the tinsel town that this film has fallen in Sonam’s kitty. Earlier, Deepika Padukone’s name was attached to this project, but looks like Sonam has worked her charm.

This reminds us of Sonam’s interview during the promotions of ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’. At that point of time, Sonam was asked when would she work with SRK, to which she had said, “I don’t think Shah Rukh Khan wants to work with me. There have been so many opportunities where I could have worked with him but he… I wanted to work with him and I reached out to him as well. But I never got the opportunity. Looks like Sonam has finally got the opportunity.
