Sonam Kapoor slams Deepika Padukone’s ‘My Choice’

Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone’s ‘My Choice’ video is facing flak from society. The video that was meant to promote women empowerment has been receiving criticism for promoting adultery, cheating and disloyalty. Deepika Padukone’s ‘betenoir’ actress Sonam Kapoor, known for her sarcastic comments on the ‘RamLeela’ actress has slammed Deepika Padukone once again.

Sonam Kapoor said, “I don’t have to make a video to voice my opinions. Elitist women have always had wrong ideas about feminism. They think male-bashing… hating men…makes you a true feminist. I don’t have to make a video to voice my opinions. My actions have always spoken louder than my words. I’m proud to be a woman and I respect my independence. I’m never afraid to give my opinion on any matter. That’s what feminism is about.”

Well Sonam Kapoor isn’t the only one speaking out her mind about Deepika Padukone’s video My Choice, Sonakshi Sinha too had opposed saying, “Women empowerment is not about what clothes you wear and who you want to have sex with and stuff like that.”
