Here’s why Sonam Kapoor is taking a break from Twitter

B-town’s fashionista Sonam Kapoor has been a very social media savvy actress. She has always been very active across all the social media platforms and has kept her fans and followers engaged by sharing details of her personal as well as professional life.

However all of a sudden, the actress, today, took to the micro-blogging site Twitter and announced that she is taking a break from the site. Citing the reason behind her decision, Sonam wrote that the Twitter has become too negative for her. She wished peace and love to her followers.

Sonam wrote, “I’m going off twitter for a while. It’s just too negative. Peace and love to all !”

The way netizens don’t stop trolling celebs and posting negative comments on their posts, it doesn’t come as a surprise that Sonam got fed up with the constant negativity on this social media platform.

Recently, Sonam has voiced her opinion on Tanushree Dutta’s case and a few other harassment cases. Apparently, she received a lot of negative comments for expressing her views on these subjects.

Also, a few days back when Sonam complained about traffic and bad roads, a netizen schooled her by blaming her for traffic, pollution and advised her to use public transport.

Soon she was trolled mercilessly for giving an insensible reply to a sensible tweet.

Looks like this made things difficult for Sonam and finally she decided to take a break from Twitter for a while.
