Sonam Kapoor asks if vegetable vendors have shut shop; trolls suggest, “Utilize this lockdown and work on your IQ”

The outbreak of Coronavirus has created a panic like situation in the entire nation. The state government has instructed for a complete lockdown of Maharashtra and even domestic flights will be suspended from tonight. Amidst all these chaos, Sonam Kapoor took to her Twitter handle and asked Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) if the vegetable vendors have asked to shut shop in the wake of the virus outbreak. The ‘Neerja’ actress was once again trolled by netizens with some of them wondering if she even knows the name of any vegetable.

Taking to her Twitter handle, the ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga’ actress tagged BMC and asked them, “Are vegetable vendors asked to shut shop?”

The actress was soon trolled by netizens as one of the users asked, “Tweeting from Delhi and asking for shops in Mumbai. That too such a nonsense question(sic)” Whereas another user commented, “Madam, work from home karna hai bakchodi from home nahi(sic)”

When one of the users asked the actress why does she care about vegetable shops since she is a non-vegetarian. The actress corrected him saying, “I’m vegetarian.”
