Actress Sonam Kapoor, who recently garnered praise with her performance in the biopic of brave stewardess Neerja Bhanot, says that a biopic should be made on Indian athlete PT Usha.
Sonam recently attended the Golden Jubilee celebration of IIMC’s ladies wing, where she said India had many great personalities to make biopics upon.
“We always celebrated the success of athletes, like we made Milkha Singh’s biopic. I hope many runners’ get inspired by that. There is such a huge population in our country.. I think there are so many talented persons whose biopics can be made,” the ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ actress said.
“I feel I am blessed with a lot. It’s my duty to give back in whatever way possible. I try to do that every day in my own little way,” she added.
On the professional front, Sonam will next be seen in the chick flick ‘Veere Di Wedding’, which will be produced by her sister Rhea Kapoor.
