Sonam Kapoor’s ‘Neerja’ trailer sets a benchmark, crosses 2 million views

This year has been very lucky for fashionista Sonam Kapoor. With her last film ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ with Salman Khan breaking records at the box-office, Sonam is running high on success. And guess what? She has a yet another reason to rejoice as the trailer of her upcoming ‘Neerja’ has also received an overwhelming response.

Sonam Kapoor’s ‘Neerja’ is a movie about a flight attendant who sacrificed her life to save hundreds of passengers on board a hijacked flight. It’s based on a true of Neerja Bhanot. The trailer of this film was released recently along with Shah Rukh Khan’s film ‘Dilwale’ on December 18. And we must say the trailer is highly impressive. It has taken the internet by storm and recent numbers say that ‘Neerja’ trailer has crossed the mark of 2 million views on the internet. It’s surely a record in itself as this overwhelming response has been incurred within two days of the trailer getting released.

Sonam who is obviously happy with the attention garnered by the trailer took to twitter to thank her fans. She said, “Another million in a day!! Thank you for the love!!”

 ‘Neerja’ directed by Ram Madhvani is set to release on February 19, 2016. Along with Sonam, we will see Shabana Azmi playing a pivotal role in the film.
