Sonam Kapoor defends Janhvi Kapoor after Katrina comments on her shorts

Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor is a feisty character, isn’t she? The ‘Veere Di Wedding’ actress always believes in speaking her mind and not worrying about repercussions. Now, Sonam has defended her sister Janhvi Kapoor. Recently, Katrina Kaif commented on Janhvi’s shorts and said that they are too short.

Katrina had commented on Janhvi Kapoor’s shorts on Neha Dhupia’s show ‘BFFs with Vogue’. The ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ actress had appeared on the show alongside her stylist friend Anaita Shroff Adajania.

Neha Dhupia quizzed the ‘Bharat’ actress and asked her to name a Bollywood celebrity who goes OTT in her/his gym. To which, Kat replied, “Not OTT, but I am concerned about the very, very short shorts that Jahnvi wears! She comes to my gym as well, so we, often are together in the gym. I just worry about her sometimes.”

Now, Sonam Kapoor shared a picture on her Instagram story of Janhvi’s gym outfit in shorts and indirectly also took a jibe at Katrina. Sonam wrote, “She also wears regular clothes and rocks it.” Sonam is known for her strong opinions and is very fond of her cousin Janhvi.

Janhvi Kapoor though often gets snapped wearing shorts and also gets trolled for it. Katrina’s comment could just be a sporting one and not too much should be read into it.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Sonam Kapoor will be next seen in ‘The Zoya Factor’. The film also stars Dulquer Salmaan. ‘The Zoya Factor’ will be releasing on September 20, 2019.
