It has been a packed 2017 for Sonam, and she clearly can’t hide the excitement.
“This year has been amazing for me creatively. Working on #padman , #duttbiopic and now ending it with #VeereDiWedding.
Can’t wait for you guys to see all these films! Lots of love to all who have supported me and have helped me through my journey.
Next year is gonna be even more awesome with all these movies releasing and me starting some exciting new projects!,” Sonam wrote, in back to back tweets. (Also Read: Sonam Kapoor confirms that she is doing ‘The Zoya Factor’)
Rhea Kapoor, who is producing the project, wanted to take it to the floors long back. However, a then pregnant Kareena didn’t get an insurance and the shoot was delayed. Post the birth of son Taimur, she was waiting to get back to her best shape before she begins shooting.
Kareena, earlier in an interview with Pinkvilla, had revealed that the film was going to revolve around her wedding.
“Yeah! It is my wedding in the movie and it will be different. Rhea is going to style me. It will be stylish. And with Sonam – the fashionista in the movie, I surely cannot wear my jeans and t-shirt. Or you never know, I may convince her to come out of her ball gowns and wear jeans and t-shirt. You should wait and watch,” she said.
Can’t wait already to attend the ‘wedding’? Same here! Finally, a movie on sisterhood, after a long, long time.
