Sonam shares a picture with Kareena as they start shooting for ‘Veere Di Wedding’

Recently, Sonam Kapoor had shared the great news of kickstarting the shooting of her forthcoming flick ‘Veere Di Wedding’. She had tweeted, “Going to be leaving for delhi today. So excited to start #VeereDiWedding @ReallySwara @ShikhaTalsania #kareena @RheaKapoor #shashankghosh.” [sic]

Now, the actress has shared a picture from the first day on the sets of the movie. The picture has Kareena Kapoor Khan resting her head on Sonam while she clicks a selfie and lends it the black-and-white filter. Sharing the picture, Sonam writes, “First day shooting with this one… ❤️?? #veerediwedding #kareenakapoorkhan” [sic]

Sonam seems pretty excited and so are we as this will be Kareena’s first project post the birth of her little baby Taimur. Sonam’s sister Rhea who is producing the movie, wanted to start shooting long back, but a pregnant Kareena didn’t get an insurance and hence the shoot got delayed.

Little Taimur was born in December last year and after his birth, Bebo immediately sprung into action as she started working out rigorously to get back in shape. And today, she is in the best shape as she starts shooting for the movie. ‘Veere Di Wedding’ directed by Shashanka Ghosh also stars Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania in important roles. Talking about other projects, Sonam will be seen in Sanjay Dutt’s biopic helmed by Rajkumar Hirani. The movie has Ranbir Kapoor playing Dutt’s role and also stars Dia Mirza, Paresh Rawal, Anushka Sharma in it. Apart from that, she will be seen in R Balki’s ‘Padman’ that also stars Akshay Kumar and Radhika Apte and is produced by Twinkle Khanna and Gauri Shinde.
