Bollywood is finally standing as one and uniting in the time of grief. As we all know, Pakistani terror outfits on February 14 eliminated 44 CRPF personnel in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama sector. The nation is still in mourning. The Hindi film industry has in no uncertain terms condemned the attack and also taken a tough stand.
Earlier in the day, Ajay Devgn had announced that his upcoming venture ‘Total Dhamaal’ will not be releasing in Pakistan. The ‘Singham’ actor took to his Twitter account and shared the news.
In light of the current situation the team of Total Dhamaal has decided to not release the film in Pakistan.

‘Total Dhamaal’ is a total laugh-riot and features an ensemble cast.

Now, Sushant Singh Rajput and Bhumi Pednekar’s ‘Sonchiriya’ will also not have a Pakistan release. Producer Ronnie Screwvala in an interview with CineBlitz said, “None of our films, including ‘Sonchiriya’, will be released in Pakistan.”
Abhishek Chaubey’s ‘Sonchiriya’ is a hardcore action film.

In fact, apart from the government, the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) also has called for a ban on Pakistani artistes. The Hindi film industry has to be applauded for their decision and hopefully, until the situation normalises, no Pakistan artist will perform in India.
‘Sonchiriya’ is slated to release on March 1, 2019.
