Soni Razdan on Alia-Sidharth rumoured love affair: Who she goes out with is her prerogative

Actors Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra have worked together in quite a few movies and are often talked about for their rumoured love affair off screen. They have been spotted making public appearances together at events or parties, but neither of them has ever confessed of being in a relationship. Recently, the two were spotted at Anu and Sunny Dewan’s house party as they arrived together. Well, clearly there is more to their friendship and with the two being spotted together on various instances, the rumours of their alleged affair are not going to stop. When a leading news agency quizzed Soni Razdan about the same, she said, “Why should it (link-up) take away from her work? Why should any friendship take away from her hard work? Nobody is saying she is wasting her time with Sidharth and coming late on the sets or going early. She loves her work, she is a confident and hard working girl. She is a young, normal girl. When she is free, it is her choice how she spends her time. Who she goes out with is her prerogative. Why can’t she have a nice social life?”

On Alia’s marriage plans, Soni Razdan said, “Alia has been very busy with her work. The last thing we will be talking at this point in her career will be about marriage. I am sure she has got no such idea in her head. It is very far from the topic of conversation. It is a topic you talk about when it is time.”

On the work front, Alia will soon kickstart shooting for Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Dragon’ with Ranbir Kapoor and Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Gully Boy’ with Ranveer Singh. Sidharth, on the other hand, will be seen in a film titled ‘Reload’ with Jacqueline Fernandez.
