On Alia Bhatt’s birthday, Soni Razdan pens a loved-up note for her daughter: You are just perfect as YOU

Actress Alia Bhatt has turned 29 today. On her special day, birthday wishes poured in from her fans, family and friends on social media. The Gangubai Kathiawadi actress got the sweetest birthday wish from her actress mother Soni Razdan. Wishing her daughter on Instagram, Soni Razdan shared two throwback pictures of Alia, one when she was a little girl and the other pic is when she was a bit older. Sharing the throwback photos, Soni shared a lengthy loved-up birthday note for Alia and we can’t get enough of it. In the note, she also revealed the meaning of ‘Alia’.

Soni wrote, “Alia means ‘exalted’ and that you most certainly are
Apart from the fact that today you’re a bright star
When we named you we didn’t have a clue
That this is what your name meant, and that it might come true”.

On the work front, Alia Bhatt will be seen in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra, SS Rajamouli’s RRR and Karan Johar‘s Rocky aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani with Ranveer Singh and she will also star in Darlings. Alia will also be making her Hollywood debut alongside Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan in Netflix’s Heart Of Stone.

Today, on Alia’s birthday, the first look motion poster of Alia’s character from Brahmastra has been unveiled. She is playing Isha. The diva also shared it on her Instagram handle as she wished herself ‘birthday’.
