Soni Razdan and Pooja Bhatt defend Mahesh Bhatt as his WhatsApp chat with Rhea Chakraborty surfaces

Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case has been sensationalised to the point that anything and everything related to the case is grabbing headlines these days. We recently even came across leaked WhatsApp chats between Mahesh Bhatt and Sushant Singh Rajput’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty.

Now the veteran filmmaker’s wife Soni Razdan and daughter Pooja Bhatt have come forward in his support. Both Soni and Pooja pointed out that the message of Mahesh Bhatt which is being labelled as ‘most explosive revelation’ by a certain section of the media is the same which he had forwarded to them as well as several other people.

Sharing a screenshot of the message sent to her by Mahesh, Pooja calling out the news channel, wrote, “Interestingly, the message@IndiaToday refers to as ‘most explosive revelation’ is a message that my father also sent me & countless other people on his phone list on the same day(June 9) & subsequently posted on Twitter as well (26-6-2020) get your facts right@IndiaToday(sic).”

Even the filmmaker’s wife Soni shared a screenshot of the same message received by her. “Yes true. Here is mine. We get them every day. When will news channels actually give us real news and not fabricated spin-offs. Most seem to have turned into uglier more salacious versions of Stardust and Cine Blitz.(sic)” Razdan wrote in her tweet.

Earlier, according to the chats accessed by India Today, Rhea had been in touch with Bhatt on June 8, the day when she apparently broke up with Sushant. On June 8, Rhea had sent a text to Bhatt which read, “Aisha moves on..sir..with a heavy heart and sense of relief. Our last call was a wake-up call. You are my angel You were then And you are now.” To which the director replied, “Don’t look back. Make it possible what is inevitable. My love to your father. He will be a happy man.”

Rhea further wrote, “Have found some courage, and what you said about my dad that day on the phone pushed me to be strong for him. He sends you love and thanks you for always being so special.” Bhatt replied, “You are my child. I feel light.”

Rhea Chakraborty has been named as the prime accused by Sushant’s family in his alleged murder. The CBI has taken over the probe and they have started interrogating Sushant’s close friends, flatmates and housekeepers.
