Sonnalli Seygall, Ashesh Sajnani name their daughter Shukar; says, “She is our little miracle”

Sonnalli Seygall and Ashesh Sajnani tied the knot in June 2023, and by August 2024, they joyfully announced they were expecting their first child together. The talented actress, known for her role in Pyaar Ka Punchnama, welcomed a baby girl last week, with Ashesh expressing his excitement about fatherhood on social media.

Recently, Sonnalli shared an adorable glimpse of their newborn and revealed the unique name they chose for her: Shukar A. Sajnani. In her heartfelt post, she explained the significance of the name. The new parents shared a touching black-and-white photo on Instagram, capturing the tiny feet of their daughter, lovingly cradled by both Sonnalli and Ashesh.

In a sweet touch, Ashesh has had their daughter’s name inscribed in Hindi on his wrist. In the post, they wrote, “Introducing our beautiful daughter, Shukar—a name that embodies the gratitude we’ve carried in our hearts throughout our lives. She is our little miracle, a living testament to the abundance of love, joy, and blessings surrounding us. May she grow to recognize the beauty in each moment and lead a life full of thankfulness, just as she has been an indescribable blessing to us. Welcome to the world, our Shukar—our miracle of abundance.”

Last week, Ashesh was seen celebrating the arrival of their baby in the hospital, wearing scrubs and joyfully dancing around while declaring, “Our baby is here,” alongside a video clip.

Sonnalli and Ashesh announced their pregnancy news in August 2024 with a playful social media post. It read, “From beer bottles to baby bottles… Ashesh’s life is about to change! As for me, some things stay the same. Was eating for 1… now eating for 2! In the meantime, Shamsher is taking notes on how to be a good big brother. Overjoyed & Grateful. Keep us in your prayers—December 2024 coming!”

Sonnalli Seygall’s career

Sonnalli Seygall made her Bollywood debut in Luv Ranjan’s acclaimed 2011 film Pyaar Ka Punchnama. She portrayed Rhea and has since appeared in Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 and Wedding Pullav. She also starred in the lead role in the 2020 film Jai Mummy Di. Her co-stars include Sunny Singh, Supriya Pathak, and Poonam Dhillon.
