Covid-19 has been spreading rapidly, the nation has been hit by what they call the ‘second wave of Covid-19’. But the Covid vaccine has come as a ray of hope and the citizens have begun to get their first shot of the Covid vaccine. Many Bollywood celebrities have also got their first jab of the vaccine and recently, Sonu Sood also shared that he has got his first shot as well.
Sonu took to his Twitter and wrote, “Got my vaccine today and now it’s time to get whole of my country vaccinated. Started the biggest vaccination drive “Sanjeevani” which will bring awareness and get our people vaccinated.”

Sonu has joined the likes of celebs like Malaika Arora, Hema Malini, Mohanlal, Jeetendra, Kamal Haasan, Nagarjuna, Rakesh Roshan, Johnny Lever, Amitabh Bachchan, Rohit Shetty, Neena Gupta, Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt who also got their first shot of Covid-19 vaccine.
Sonu recently launched an initiative, ‘Sanjeevani: A Shot of Life’ to encourage people to get their vaccination. According to a report by IANS, the actor said, “I wanted to start this drive because I feel it is very important to bring that awareness among people who are still thinking whether they should get vaccinated or not. Family members should push their elder ones, people who are eligible to get vaccinated. It will only help them survive the times we are facing in the near future.”
