Sonu Sood recently reacted to a tweet by an account of the District Magistrate and Collector, Ganjam, that claimed his foundation had not contacted the actor for a hospital bed but apparently Sood took credit for it. Sonu replied that he had not contacted the DM at all and he also said that his foundation does not claim to have approached them first.

Sonu also shared multiple screenshots of Whatsapp chats with a person who was looking for a hospital bed with oxygen. Sonu has been quite active even in the second wave of Covid-19 and he has helped out multiple people in this crisis of the pandemic.

The tweet by the DM’s handle read, “We don’t received any communication from @SoodFoundation or @SonuSood . Requested patient is in Home isolation and stable. No bed issues @BrahmapurCorp is monitoring it. ?? @CMO_Odisha” To which Sonu wrote back saying, “Sir, We never claimed that we approached you, it’s the needy who approached us & we arranged the bed for him, attatched are the chats for your reference.Ur office is doing a great job & u can double check that we had helped him too.Have DM you his contact details. Jai hind , ??”

In an earlier interview with  Spotboye, Sonu had talked about more and more people beginning to question his intentions, he said, “I am not really going out of my way to justify my behaviour to people who doubt my intentions. To be negative is in their DNA. It’s not their fault. All these are trolls. They have no spine and they are only seeking attention.”
