Ever since Kangana Ranaut has entered Bollywood, controversies refuse to leave her alone. It won’t be wrong if we say that she is controversy’s favourite child in B-town.
We wonder if she goes looking for trouble or trouble usually finds her. The actress is always caught in some controversy prior to the release of her films (we really wonder if this is a coincidence as well). Now that her epic historical biopic ‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi’ is nearing its release, almost every day we hear about the film being embroiled in some issue or the other.
A few days back we came to know that since the film’s director Krish is busy with his next film, he couldn’t help with the patchwork of ‘Manikarnika’. So left with no choice, Kangana decided to take charge of the film so that they don’t miss out on its release date.
Then, we came across reports of Sonu Sood walking out of the film. Kangana claimed that Sonu walked out of the film because he didn’t have dates and didn’t want to work with a woman director. The actor was supposed to shoot some patchwork for the film.
Replying to Kangana’s allegations of not having faith in her and refusing to work under her, Sonu told Pinkvilla, “The gender of the director is not the issue. Competence is. Let’s not confuse the two. I’ve worked with Farah Khan (In Happy New Year) who’s a competent woman director and Farah and I had a great professional equation and we are still best of friends. That’s all I would like to say.”
