Sony Music India Bags music rights of Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Dilwale’

Bollywood filmmaker Rohit Shetty’s much talked about upcoming film ‘Dilwale‘ is already in news. The movie marks the return of Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol after a gap of five years. Now it is being reported that Sony Music has acquired the music rights of the film. ‘Dilwale’, team comprising of Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Rohit Shetty, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon are currently in Bulgaria.

Sanujeet Bhujabal, Marketing Director Sony Music India said, “Our relationship with India’s romantic couple begins with ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ in 1998 to ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’ in 2001 then ‘My name is Khan’ in 2010 and now in 2015 with Dilwale, it just gets bigger.”

He further added that, “It’s a great opportunity for us to team up with the best in the industry. We together along with Rohit Shetty, Red Chillies and Pritam promise to create a musical storm in 2015 too.”

Rohit Shetty will be shooting two songs in Bulgaria, one a peppy number with Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon and another a soft romantic song with Shahrukh Khan and Kajol.
