Sooraj Pancholi breaks down talking about Jiah Khan’s case; says, “Don’t have patience to wait 14-15 years for judgement”

At the trailer launch of his upcoming film, ‘Satellite Shanker’, Sooraj Pancholi was caught candid spilling the beans on his upcoming film and his personal life. During the media interaction, he broke down talking about his late girlfriend Jiah Khan’s suicide case, which is still running in the court. The actor says that he doesn’t have the patience to wait 14-15 years for the judgement.

During the media interactions, when Sooraj Pancholi was asked about how he has been struggling for the last six years over the court case. He got emotional and said, “I have been struggling in life over the past seven years. I was put behind bars when I was 21 for something I haven’t done. I don’t want to hype this but I want to say that all these years, I have been very quiet because I believed in our legal system.”

The actor added saying that he still believes in the court’s procedure and he has faith in it. He also said, “I don’t have the patience to wait for the judgment for another 14 or 20 years. If I am a complainant, I don’t have to go to court but the accused has to go to court at each and every hearing. I have been going for court hearings since I was 21. I will turn 29 in a month. In the history of India, mine is the only case where the accused has asked the court to continue the trial.”

Slamming Jiah Khan’s mother (Rubiya Khan), the actor says that its complainant’s duty to come to the court if they want justice. He added saying that every time he had a trail the complainants catch a flight and leave for London because they have a British passport and the authorities over here cannot do anything about it. He said, “It’s not fair. I want this trial to start because I want an answer to whether I am guilty or not.”
