Sooraj Pancholi to play a footballer in a movie?

There were rumours of Sooraj Pancholi  playing the role of a footballer for one of his upcoming movies. Well, it’s not a rumour anymore. Sooraj will be a part of a movie based on soccer that will be directed by debutante filmmaker Pierre Timmins.

A source close to a tabloid has revealed, “This untitled movie is about an underdog soccer player who makes his own journey on the soccer field. Sooraj is excited about this project but is yet to hear the final narration. He will start filming for this project once he wraps up Remo’s film that should be sometime next year.

The actor has already begun prep for his role of a footballer. He has been dedicating a few hours every day to master the sport of soccer to help him during the shooting.

The source further adds, “He has been working with professional coaches and will be going to Goa, which has some great football fields, and spend a month training there. Also, since he has to look really lean he will be losing around 10 kg, which will require him to sweat it out in the gym.”

Apart from this, Sooraj  has recently given his nod to a  movie by Remo D’Souza which is a dance-action flick and also stars Ajay Devgn. The shooting will commence in September in Delhi.
