‘Sooryavanshi’ trailer launch: Ranveer Singh apologises profusely to Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn for arriving late

Filmmaker Rohit Shetty managed to pull off a casting coup by bringing together Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar and Ranveer Singh in his upcoming action-drama ‘Sooryavanshi‘. The film’s trailer was launched today and guess what? Ranveer arrived almost forty minutes late! Obviously Ajay and Akki weren’t pleased to be kept waiting.

As soon as Ranveer arrived at the venue, he first apologised by doing sit-ups and holding his ears. But when Akshay told him that would not be enough, Ranveer then falls at his and Ajay’s feet.

Akshay and Ajay were seen pulling Ranveer’s leg as he arrived late at the trailer launch. Ranveer first apologised for being late but then  Akshay tells him, “Yeh karne se kuch nahi hoga!” Kumar even adds, “Yeh pehla aisa junior actor hai jisne chaar chaar senior actors ko pure 40 minutes wait karwaya hai.”

The ‘Simmba’ actor then falls at Akshay and Ajay’s feet. He even explains that his wife lives in town and also due to the ongoing Metro work there was traffic because of which he was late.

Later, the ‘Simmba’ actor even apologised on stage. And both Akki and Ajay left no chance to roast him.

In ‘Sooryavanshi’ Ranveer and Ajay will be having a special appearance. The film also marks reunion of Katrina and Akshay after almost a decade.

‘Sooryavanshi’ is scheduled to hit the silver screens on March 24.
